When I first read this quote from Rick Rubin, it struck me for so many reasons.
I have always loved photographing places, things, and people around me. Especially when in a foreign country or city. You probably know this feeling.
Whether I travel for a client or for leisure, I have a camera with me at all times. It draws me into the present moment. And I think it is important to capture the world in the way each and every one of us sees it.
In the past years, I’ve created photo calendars for my family and friends. For 2025, I decided to share my very personal year with all of you.
This year, I took over 6.000 film photographs on 35mm film on my travels.
You’ll find 13 of them in the new calendar, from Mallorca to Madrid, from LA to Lanzarote.
All my heart went into capturing, editing, curating and finally designing and printing this calendar.
